BAPTISM!
BAPTISM!
Go public with your faith!
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward transformation. It’s your declaration that you’ve decided to follow Jesus. If you’ve recently made that decision or you’re ready to take that step, we’re here to walk with you.
Let’s Dive Deeper
-
Baptism is a sacred act commanded by Jesus that publicly identifies a believer with His death, burial, and resurrection. It is not a means of salvation but a visible testimony that a person has already been saved by grace through faith in Christ (Ephesians 2:8–9).
-
When someone is baptized, they are declaring that their old life of sin has died, and they are now raised to walk in newness of life through the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 6:3–4). Baptism reflects repentance, faith in Christ, and the believer’s entry into the covenant community—the Body of Christ (Galatians 3:27; 1 Corinthians 12:13).
-
Baptism is for anyone who has consciously repented of their sins and placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Throughout the New Testament, baptism always follows personal belief. In Acts 2:41, “Those who accepted his message were baptized.” Faith precedes baptism, making it a step of obedience for believers—not infants or those who have not yet made that decision.
-
Yes! Jesus Himself was baptized as an example (Matthew 3:13–17), and He called His followers to be baptized as part of their discipleship journey (Matthew 28:19–20). It is a declaration that you now belong to Christ and desire to walk in obedience to Him.
If you have placed your trust in Jesus, you are ready for baptism regardless of your background, age, or how long you've been attending church. What matters is the inward transformation God has already begun in you (2 Corinthians 5:17).
