Habitation Church is considered a non-denominational church. Our leadership structure flows under the leadership of the five-fold ministry. Our church and our network have functioned under the apostolic and prophetic mantle since the year 1999 when our Apostle was called into the apostolic ministry from the Baptist denomination. Through intensive times of prayer, search through the word and countless conversations with leaders and pastors, the apostolic call was embraced and has shaped our identity in this season. Habitation Church is a church its core identity is and always will be apostolic and prophetic. We are under the direct covering and supervision of the founding apostles Dr. Pedro R. Osorio and Loyda Osorio. Habitation Church also operates under the prophetic mantle, anointing, and mandate. Our church consists of identified, vetted, and called ministers that functions on all 5 offices of the ministry. Members of these offices also form of the Governing Body of the church (traditionally called the board of elders) and together with the apostle and the Lead pastor (as the apostolic proxy) make decision of the direction which the church will be headed (through prayer and divine guidance) the ultimate decision will fall under the Apostle and/or the Lead pastor and the governing body will function under the decisions that they will make (taking all information and advice under consideration before making a decision). This system of leadership brings order and consistency as we follow a New Testament style of leadership within the church.

Apostolic Shift

By 1999, the church experiences another renovation, but this time in the apostolic and prophetic movement.  The church was called and confirmed to be a mother church that would give birth to many daughter churches, and the Osorio Pastors are called to the apostolic movement.  This was a process that involved searching, prayer, orientation, and teaching.  The church moves in obedience to the new stage, and from there comes the current name: Apostolic Renewal Church.  Many servants of God have helped in the transition of the church to allow it to be done in order, biblically, and without extremes and limiting negative impact wherever possible. Servants such as Hector Torres, Alberto Guerrero, Yanira Gonzalez, Mercedes Feliciano, and Dr. Remedios among others. The church began to evangelize in the nations starting first with the Dominican Republic and Peru.  After various yearly evangelistic trips, the Apostolic Renewal Renovation Network (RIAR) is formed, where the Osorio Pastors are presidents, and are named as apostles of the Lord.

Currently, RIAR has 27 churches in 6 countries. RIAR covers more than 50 ministers of the Lord. With the apostolic assignment, the church opened to the apostolic and prophetic government, spiritual paternity, spiritual covering, spiritual warfare at the city level, integral prosperity (Shalom), sowing and reaping, generational thinking, and much more.
