Day 12: Leading from Rest

Good morning! Today’s devotional focuses on leading from a place of rest. As we navigate this season of new beginnings, rest is not optional—it’s essential.

Scripture Reading:
"He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul." — Psalm 23:2-3

Reflection:
Psalm 23 paints a picture of God as our Shepherd, leading us to rest and restoration. True leadership flows from this place of renewal.

When we skip rest, we risk burnout. But when we allow God to restore our souls, we lead and serve from a place of strength and peace. This year, let’s embrace rest as a vital part of our spiritual health.

Application:
Set aside intentional time for rest this week. Schedule a day or even a few hours to step away from work and responsibilities to be refreshed in God’s presence.

Prayer:
"Lord, thank You for leading us to rest. Restore our souls and teach us to trust You enough to slow down. Help us lead and serve from a place of peace and renewal. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
