Day 19: Empowered by the Spirit

Good morning, church family! Today’s devotional focuses on the power of the Holy Spirit. As we embrace new beginnings, we need His empowerment to fulfill God’s mission in our lives and our church.

Scripture Reading:
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." - Acts 1:8

Reflection:
When Jesus spoke these words, He was commissioning His disciples to spread the gospel. He promised that the Holy Spirit would empower them to do what they could never accomplish on their own.

The same is true for us today. Whatever God is calling you to do in this season, the Holy Spirit is your source of strength, wisdom, and boldness. Relying on Him ensures that the work you do bears eternal fruit.

Application:
Ask the Holy Spirit to empower you today. Identify one area where you need His guidance or strength, and invite Him to lead you. Trust that He will equip you for the task ahead.

Prayer:
"Holy Spirit, we invite You to fill us with Your power. Empower us to be bold witnesses for Christ and to walk confidently in Your calling. Lead us, guide us, and strengthen us as we step into this season of new beginnings. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
