Day 6: Walking by Faith

Good morning! Today’s devotional focuses on faith—specifically, walking by faith and not by sight. As we embrace this year of new beginnings, we need to trust God even when the path ahead isn’t fully clear.

Scripture:

"For we walk by faith, not by sight." — 2 Corinthians 5:7

Reflection:

Walking by faith means trusting God even when we don’t see the whole picture. It’s about stepping out in obedience, believing that God’s promises are true.

Think about Abraham, who left everything familiar to follow God’s call without knowing where he was going. His faith wasn’t blind; it was rooted in trust in God’s character. In the same way, our new beginnings this year may require steps of faith, trusting that God will provide and guide.

Application:

Ask yourself today: Where is God calling me to walk by faith? Is there an area in your life where you’ve been hesitant to trust Him?

Take one small step of faith today, whether it’s starting a new habit, reaching out to someone, or committing to a decision you’ve been avoiding.

Prayer:

"Lord, strengthen our faith to trust You even when we don’t understand the full plan. Help us to walk boldly in obedience, knowing You are guiding every step. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
