Day 9: Renewed by the Spirit

Good morning, church! Today, we’ll focus on what it means to be renewed by the Spirit. As we embrace new beginnings, renewal is essential for sustaining the work God has called us to do.

Scripture Reading:
"But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." — Isaiah 40:31

Reflection:
This verse is a promise of strength for those who wait on God. Waiting doesn’t mean inactivity—it means trusting, seeking, and depending on Him.

When we try to do everything in our own strength, we burn out. But when we wait on the Lord, He renews us spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Like eagles soaring, we gain new perspective and energy to face challenges.

Application:
Take time today to intentionally 'wait on the Lord.' Spend 10 minutes in silence or worship, asking Him to renew your strength. Reflect on an area where you need His renewal and invite the Spirit to refresh you.

Prayer:
"Lord, teach us to wait on You. Renew our strength and give us the endurance to walk, run, and soar in this season. Fill us with Your Spirit and help us trust in Your timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
