Day 10: Rooted in Christ
Hello, church family! As we continue, today’s focus is on being rooted in Christ. Deep roots are essential for lasting growth in this season of new beginnings.
Scripture Reading:
"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." — Colossians 2:6-7
Reflection:
Paul encourages us to walk in Christ, not just believe in Him. Being rooted means drawing our nourishment and strength from Him daily. Without strong roots, we’re vulnerable to being swayed by circumstances.
This year, let’s focus on strengthening our foundation in Christ through prayer, studying His Word, and building Christ-centered relationships.
Application:
Evaluate your spiritual 'roots' today. Are you spending intentional time with God? Commit to one habit this week that will help you deepen your relationship with Christ—whether it’s a Bible reading plan, prayer time, or joining a small group.
Prayer:
"Lord, help us to be deeply rooted in You. Strengthen our faith and build us up so we can stand firm in every season. Teach us to walk in You daily and abound in thanksgiving. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
