Day 13: Prepared for the New
Hello, church family! As we journey through new beginnings, preparation is key. Today’s focus is on consecration—setting ourselves apart for the work God wants to do."
Scripture Reading:
"Consecrate yourselves, for tomorrow the Lord will do wonders among you." - Joshua 3:5
Reflection:
When God spoke these words to Joshua, the Israelites were on the brink of entering the Promised Land. Before they could move forward, they needed to consecrate themselves—purify their hearts and align their lives with God’s will.
In the same way, we must prepare our hearts for the new things God wants to do. This isn’t about perfection but about surrender and dedication.
Application:
Spend time in prayer today, asking God to reveal anything in your life that needs to be surrendered to Him. Commit to consecrating yourself for His purposes this year.
Prayer:
"Lord, we consecrate ourselves to You today. Purify our hearts and prepare us for the wonders You want to do. Help us to walk in obedience and humility as we step into this season. In Jesus’ name, Amen."
